Tessarine designs custom tile, terrazzo and stone surfaces for homes, small hotels and restaurants. We draw every pattern in the studio and work with three family workshops to produce it.

Pattern tile
Encaustic and glazed ceramic tile in short runs, from a single bathroom floor to a full lobby. Colours are mixed to a sample you approve.
Terrazzo
Poured and precast terrazzo with local aggregate. Counters, stair treads and floors, with a finish chosen for how the room is used.
Stone details
Thresholds, sills, basins and inlays cut from offcuts of larger slabs, so less stone goes to waste and each piece keeps its own grain.
How a project runs
Visit
We see the room or the plans, and talk about light, traffic and cleaning before talking about colour.
Drawing
Two or three pattern directions, drawn to scale, with physical samples sent within two weeks.
Production
Our workshops make the approved design. Typical lead time is six to ten weeks.
Fitting
We supply a laying plan and can recommend installers we have worked with for years.
